Saraṇa
SUH-ra-na（薩拉那）
【一句話】
皈依：唔係入會拜神儀式，而係一個清醒嘅決定——唔再靠外在保佑，改為依三寶自己行修行路。
【生活例子】
驚嘅時候，人本能會去拜山拜樹拜神求庇佑。佛陀話：嗰啲都唔係真正安穩嘅皈依。真正嘅皈依係轉個方向——唔再求外面保你，而係決定親自行條解脫嘅路。
【佛陀點講】
Bahuṁ ve saraṇaṁ yanti, pabbatāni vanāni ca; ārāmarukkhacetyāni, manussā bhayatajjitā. Netaṁ kho saraṇaṁ khemaṁ, netaṁ saraṇamuttamaṁ.
被恐懼所威脅的人們，多去皈依山岳、森林、園林、樹木、神龕。但那不是安穩的皈依，那不是最上的皈依。
People threatened by fear go for refuge to many places—to mountains, forests, parks, trees, and shrines. But that’s not a safe refuge, that’s not the highest refuge.
